Yep, that RiRi gif sums up my current situation!
I’m in the middle of working 14 days in a row so this one will have to be quick!
But anyway, what’s up y’all? Welcome back to #DoubleFML FatDarrellPalooza!
Man, I’ve been so busy (and broke) lately that I haven’t even started Christmas shopping yet!
I’ll have to spend some quality time with Amazon Prime soon so I can get everything shipped on time!
I’d better wait until I get paid again on Friday though or that cover photo might end up being legit!
That’s not the type of credit the title refers to though, instead, I’m talking about TV credits!
….more specifically, mine!
If you watched the Miss Universe Pageant the other day and have ridiculously good eyesight, you may have seen this during the closing credits scroll…
Still don’t see it? Here’s a closer look…
Check out ya boy! Pretty cool eh?
…or at least I think so.
Potential Bae’s, here’s your warning, I always sit through the credits at the movie theater for this exact reason. You have no idea how hard people work behind the scenes for that millisecond of recognition at the end…but I do!
What a crazy and incredible 7-day journey I had working for the 2019 Miss Universe Pageant though!
Hopefully you all enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed working with the team to bring it all together.
Unfortunately, I can’t share any juicy behind the scenes details, pics or videos, but know that I had an amazing time and created memories that will last a lifetime!
Thanks again to the entire talent and production team for welcoming me into the family! It was truly inspiring to be surrounded by such an amazingly talented group of people.
I don’t know where Miss Universe will be held in 2020 or if I’ll be invited back next year but I’ll have my passport ready and bags packed just in case!
And while we’re giving credit, congratulations to all of the contestants, especially the winner and 2019 Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa!
What an amazing final statement that was!
And speaking of “final statements”, as mentioned, I’m literally on a break between shifts so I have to close this out soon but first, can we finally give credit to my beloved San Francisco 49ers?
The team has only lost 2 games all season by a combined total of 6 points yet some people still don’t think they’re legit yet?
Every week doubters are like “okay, I’ll give them credit if they can beat the Rams” then they beat The Rams and suddenly it’s “oh, well The Rams aren’t that good, but fine, I’ll give them credit if they beat the Packers” and then they beat The Packers and the goal post moves yet again…
I swear, some of you need a jersey that looks like this since you seem to root for every team in the league!

That’s cool with me though, they play better as underdogs so keep doubting them all the way to the Superbowl in Miami!
Anyway, it’s back to work I go, but please drop a comment below before you go!
Also follow me on social media by clicking the logos on the side menu!
Thanks again for dropping by and May the Fork be With You…

This “super gig” will probably give that bank account a boost right before Christmas! haha Seriously, you are a busy “little bee” or should I say “big bee?” I think the Pageant winner is a beautiful, smart lady. Glad you were able to be a part of this experience. It must have been exciting working around all of those beautiful women :). I also saw that team of yours in action again which now cements the fact that they are legit……

This post is really cool and concisely captures the essence of your Pageant experience. I truly enjoyed it and like the way you give credit to all for a “job well done.” I am sure that your memories will linger on for a long time as you reflect on your involvement with that talented group of people… like you! So glad the talent and production team welcomed you into the family! You deserve it!!! I love your what I will call a “front runner” t-shirt. We should try to sell those bad boys to some of the folks we know in this category. LOL
